State Office Building

Located on South Main, the 20,000 sq. ft. the "State Office Buildings" houses many important agencies serving the Brookings area. You can find the South Dakota Department of Social Services, Vocation Rehabilitation, the One-Stop Career Center, the Career Learning Center, the Department of Corrections, the Brookings County Nurses, Brookings Housing, Lutheran Social Services Credit Counseling, Black Hills Special Services, the Department of Labor, and Swiftel at this all-brick office complex.
